Austin earned his J.D. cum laude from Wayne State University Law School and his B.A. magna cum laude from Albion College. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Austin contributes to the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and serves as a Co-Editor and Chapter Author of the Michigan Guardianship and Conservatorship Handbook, Third Edition. His chapter provides an overview of guardianships and conservatorships in Michigan.
